The machine is designed for repair works in rail tunnels.
Its main functions are :
- scraping of damaged brick walls
- scraping of cross walls
- cutting transverse grooves for drainage pipes and reinforcing ribs.
The machine is extremely versatile and easy to handle, allowing unskilled labour to be used and meaning that the entire vault can be processed even in double - track  The machine’s compact,  rugged  load-bearing structures ensure durability even in the most demanding conditions tunnels.
The simplicity and easy accessibility of the main assemblies provide easy maintenance.
The machine’s output depends on its power and on the consistency of the material for excavation.

- Water spraying system for the dust laying ;
- Boom extension system, capable to operate down to rail floor level and under the high-tension cables ;
- Conveyor system. including :
A - Telescopic hopper connected to cutting boom ;
B - Unmovable hopper connected to machine frame ;
C - Conveyor bands ( long type ) ;
D - Conveyor bands ( short type ) ;
E - Tilted conveyor band ( “ V ” - shape ) ;
   - Electrical system ;
F - Additional conveyor band ( 13 mt. ) to unload muck on waggon.
